Chakra Flow Sound Journey Series | Mystic Nature, Nipomo

Includes a digital journal on featured chakra for each session! As we move from root to crown and beyond, each session in this monthly series offers simple, integrative practices to restore harmony within—tending to the places that feel depleted, overextended, or out of balance. A remembering… that we, too, are nature.

SONIC ACTIVISM: Singing Resistance Central Coast (SRCC) | locations vary in SLO County

Come sing with us! We are a loving, nonviolent movement—rooted in courage, compassion, and collective care. We don’t just sing for the world we want— we sing to create it, right here and now. We sing to heal— from the weight of living in an oppressive system, to reconnect with our feelings, our voices, and each other. Because when we sing together, we move energy, we support our nervous systems, and we remember our grief, our courage, and our power.

You can even start a singing pod in your own community— we’ll help guide you. Let’s raise our voices— not in hate, but in love – not in fear, but in courage – and not alone, but together.

Mindfulness Hour / Cancer Support Community (FREE Series) | Online – ZOOM

- - - Every 2nd & 4th Thursday each month | 12:00PM to 1:00PM
    - We meet online on Zoom. You can also log in at the Templeton Cancer Support Community Center.
    - Registration is required thru CSC to receive the Zoom link. Go HERE

Mindful YOUniversity has been invited to participate in this wellness fair (above) and to offer a drum circle (schedule below) so I will be bringing some drums and percussion instruments – come play with me (somewhere near the corner of Broad and Higuera). Visit my table and the other wellness booths, too! Volunteers to hang out and support are welcome!

The Eternal Song Film Screening | Santa Maria Public Library

Kinship Village, in collaboration with Mindful Kindful YOUniversity, is honored to host The Eternal Song, a deeply moving film that reflects on Indigenous cultures, ancestral memory, and the power of healing through reconnection with land, community, and spirit.

This special screening is a chance to come together, reflect, and share in a meaningful community experience. We’d love to see you there.

The Eternal Song is a cinematic journey through timeless lands and their Indigenous cultures. Voices from around the world and across generations call us to witness the deep, ongoing scars of colonization on lands and peoples, and the healing that comes through ancestral wisdom. Entrusted with medicine stories, we grapple with colonial legacies, intergenerational trauma, our own fragmentation and culture of separation.

The film reveals how modernity severs our connection to nature, each other, and the ancestral realm, while feeding us empty promises of salvation, unlimited consumption and economic growth, and individual happiness. As we are drawn into the intricate web of kinship and honoring the living presence of Mother Earth, we awaken a remembrance. A sacred dance comes to life and we begin to hear the eternal song of Life itself, calling us back to belonging.

Camp Reach for the Stars (Jack’s Helping Hands) Drum Circle | Camp Yeager, Cambria

I am thrilled to bring “Joyful Rhythms” drumming to the campers on this very special weekend. Held at Camp Yeager in Cambria, this special weekend (May 29–31) gives children diagnosed with cancer and their families a chance to step away from the stress of treatment and simply enjoy time together. The goal is to create space for kids to just be kids, something that is often disrupted by their diagnosis. Throughout the weekend, campers can take part in classic camp activities while connecting with other families and counselors who understand what they are going through. For volunteer or sponsorship opportunities, please call 805-547-1914. There are counselor and junior counselor volunteer positions for each family.
