About Our Song Circles

In challenging times, making music together becomes a form of ‘medicine’ for the heart and soul—a call to reconnect with what truly matters. Blending our unique voices and rhythms creates a powerful alchemy of authentic expression, healing, and shared humanity.

As a universal language, music transcends cultures, perspectives, and life experiences, offering a joyful and nourishing way to slow down, create beauty, and envision a more harmonious world.

Explore the sacred alchemy of rhythm, song, and creative expression— medicine for heart and soul.

‘Vocal alchemy’ is the practice of exploring and expressing the voice—not just for singing, but as a tool for self-discovery, healing, and personal transformation. In these song circles, you are invited to reconnect with your authentic voice through intuitive sound, breath, and vocal play.

By tuning into your inner landscape, you’ll gently release emotional and physical tension, awaken your creative essence, and reclaim the voice as a powerful channel of expression.

Simple drumming and rhythmic instruments support the process, adding grounding, meditative rhythms that deepen the experience.

Grateful participant: “Joining in the Song Circle with Dee was great because it feels like a spiritual jam session. Whether you have a background in music or not, you realize that everybody is born with a musical instrument: the voice. And that voice is meant to be shared. The circle is as casual or as ceremonial as each person needs it be. Because the music is simple yet deep, it allows for each person to bring whatever emotion or belief they want to bring to it. By the time it was over, I felt like I could just keep going forever. I also felt more open and calm for the rest of the day. Thank you, Dee! You are a gift to this world, and it was fun to join Songs in the Key of Dee.” – Jesse Ball

No rhythm or singing experience is needed!

All voices are welcome, no matter how you think you sound.

This is not about performance, skill, or perfection—it’s about presence.

This is not about becoming a better singer, but rather about showing up for yourself—connecting to authenticity, empowerment, and freedom of self-expression in the collective energy.

Grateful participant: I enjoyed the camaraderie of other curious souls. I enjoyed just letting myself go and express myself under the warm and loving guidance of you. It felt safe and supportive and without judgment or ego.” ~C

After a few songs I began to feel a part of the music and group and by the time we finished all what I came with was quaffed and I felt part of a community that was joyous and bigger than us all!!  Again thank you!” ~ E

The Healing Power of Rhythm and Voice: Singing, Humming, and Toning

Scientific research confirms what ancient traditions have long understood: rhythm, song, and shared connection profoundly enhance mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. As we weave sound together—through drumming, toning, and intuitive vocalization—we open ourselves to a deeper sense of presence, joy, and release.

The journey flows between vibrant sound and sacred silence, allowing time for reflection, quiet contemplation, or meditation in connection with the healing vibrations of nature. These moments of stillness help integrate the harmony and energy cultivated within the circle, anchoring it deeply into our hearts and souls.

Your voice can be your own “music medicine” for physical and mental health and well-being! When we sing, hum, or tone—especially in a group—we generate vibrations that can deeply nourish our body, mind, and spirit. These simple practices are powerful tools supporting holistic well-being:
