Our “Joyful Rhythms” drumming circles are designed for bringing people together and having FUN! The plus side is – it’s oh so GOOD for you! Participating in a drumming circle promotes a wealth of therapeutic and holistic health benefits encompassing physical, cognitive, mental, emotional, and social dimensions of well-being.

Drumming outdoors amongst the lovely lavender fields and the buzz of the bees is an added holistic bonus for attuning with the vibrations of nature’s goodness!  Many thanks to Tatiana and Artem, the owners of the farm for hosting this! (Learn about the Lavender farm here: website)

The magic and power of rhythmic beats and being part of a community circle helps us align and connect more deeply to ourselves, to one another, and to the rhythms of the natural world around us in a way that brings profound joy, peace, and healing. It’s good vibrations for the heart, body, and soul.

Come experience this for yourself! Absolutely NO previous musical/drumming experience is necessary, even if you think you have no rhythm! If you have been curious about a drumming or a drum circle but were afraid to try, now is your chance to explore in an accepting and non-judgmental atmosphere!

In our facilitated drum circles we’ll explore rhythms in a playful way through guided activities, along with opportunities to be spontaneous and creative! I will be your facilitator but everyone contributes to the whole experience. The activities are based on an integrated model of evidence-based practices found to promote well-being.

Caution – exposure to drumming may cause sudden outbursts of laughter, joy, creativity, and positive energy so attend at your own risk!!

      • Seriously, drum circles are a fun way to reduce stress and boost your mood.
      • Music, and in particular drumming, is a rhythmic and motor activity that stimulates the brain and enhances cognitive functions, including memory.
      • Drumming can be a wonderful way to explore, discover, or wake-up your creative side and express yourself without fear of judgment. There are no mistakes!
      • The resonant beats of a drumming circle are more than just musical notes; they can represent a tapestry of emotions, cultures, and personal expression.
