Our meetups are for parents, educators, or anyone (over the age of 18) looking for ways to reduce stress while cultivating the inner resources needed for inner peace and well-being in the companionship and support of like-minded folks! You don’t need to do this alone!

Join us twice a month for one hour of learning and practicing together the essentials of mindfulness, stress-reduction, self-care, and self-compassion to rebalance and re-nourish YOU!

Mindful habits and attitudes can positively impact and support you in responding to life as it is — the good stuff, the tough stuff, all of it– with grace and skill.

“The real meditation is how you live your life!” -Jon Kabat-Zinn

  • TOPIC + DISCUSSION: I will be your facilitator and introduce a topic/lesson of the night, including the science of stress and difficult emotions, mind-body connection, compassion (for self, for others), cultivating positive states of mind, relationships, anxiety, parenting/teaching mindfully, and more! Your suggestions/requests are welcome!
  • MINDFULNESS PRACTICE: I will guide you in practices of mindfulness & meditation that are simple, pragmatic and effective (“no robe, no crystals” as Dan Harris says) for all levels from beginners to experienced! You will leave with some “tools” to support your well-being and work/life/relationships balance.
  • Q & A / SUPPORT: Get your questions answered, receive guidance on challenges you may have, and get immediate feedback that you won’t get from an app or a book!
  • BENEFITS: The science and research is confirming the powerful and transformational benefits of mindfulness and meditation! Experience for yourself how the essential life skills of mindfulness and meditation can be the foundation for greater strength, resilience, health, and happiness.
  • See locations and dates below!

By practicing mindfulness and kindfulness in our daily living, each one of us is positively contributing to a thriving, resilient, and compassionate world beginning with ourselves, and positively impacting our relationships at home, work, and in our communitiesCome learn and grow with us!

“I highly recommend {Dee’s classes} to anyone who is looking for practical, ready-to-use, research-backed tools for being healthy and resilient in our stress-filled world! Dee teaches with clarity and passion, not only about the important neuroscience behind mindfulness but HOW TO incorporate the practice into our busy lives. I have learned so much and wish the class was longer than an hour each week!”  ~Lisa Arakaki, Occupational Therapist, LMUSD
